Who is behind the camera?

Meet Alyona

A creative type since a very young age, I was always drawing, painting and sewing. I discovered my love for photography as a student majoring in Fine Arts at James Madison University. It was before the days of digital cameras. Many hours were spent in the dark room but I love that I got started with film! After graduation I went to work as a graphic designer, but over time one after another of my friends asked me to photograph their weddings. A few short years later I decided to pursue my passion for photography more seriously and returned to college. I have now been a professional photographer for over 10 years.
